I’m a gastroenterologist with a holistic and personalised approach to the management of gastrointestinal disorders.

I trained in Liverpool and London for 15 years, including the Royal Liverpool Hospital, Kings College Hospital, Royal London Hospital and Royal Free London. My specialist interests are inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy and functional GI disorders. I have a passion for teaching and empowering patients with knowledge about their condition. I’m involved in clinical research on a regular basis.

I was fortunate enough to have some inspiring mentors over the years who explained the basics of gastroenterology to me in a simple and logical way. I am keen to pass these principles on to my patients.

I enjoy running in the Redwoods and playing cricket on weekends in the Summer. The New Zealand lifestyle is suiting me very well!
